are 4 years apart. But I received a text the other day "I hate you", at first I laughed because he was mad that I was making him do his homework and he needed a 3.0 before he could go to Homecoming. I thought, GREAT! I'm doing my job. But later when he bolted out the house and didn't want to spend anytime at home (unless I was willing to spend some money on him: clothes, trips or food) especially if I was asking him to do a house project. I realized, there goes #2 son. It's just so fast, now it's all about girls, getting his first car, hanging with the guys and giggling over the lastest group txt message or snap chat video... Smile... so totally normal but still difficult. I am very thankful he is putting his school work at a high priority, he's trying to get his first job and he's a generally happy kid. I'll take the little moments; like him making homemade pizza on his own and put them in a special place in my heart and on Facebook of course... ha ha ha
