Ever feel like it's not your home anymore?  Teens coming and going all day, with a wake of clothes, dishes and smells behind them? Well my summer is starting out well... now my teen has graduated high school (just barely) and has his car back so he can get a job, or register for college, neither has happened yet. He's too busy surfing and skating to be bothered with that stuff....  But somehow it

became ok for him to come home when he feels like it, with as many friends as he likes and leave them here to sleep in so I can find them in the morning, some on the couch, in his bed or in the kitchen eating.  At first he would tell me he had a friend over,  that lasted about a day. Now I wake up to uncertainty, so I asked him about it... of course I got the typical narcissistic self entitled answer...
Me:  When did it become ok for you to treat our/ my home as a teen flop house?
Kid: When I graduated high school, and since I'm moving out soon I figured it was ok.
Me: I don't get the connection, it's still my house my rules
Kid: What's the big deal?
Me: Do you hear how entitled that sounds?    Wait, when are you moving out?
